I believe we've now seen just about everything -- with the Sunday night
game between the Redskins and Giants taking the cake. Being the second
tie game in as many weeks wasn't enough. It also had to have its own
share of the strange and bizarre -- including the strangest of the year:
Westbrook single-handedly costing Washington the game. (Check out the
game reports at NFL.COM or USA Today for more info.) The way I see it,
Norv and the 'Skins have several options: benching, suspension, waiving
him............I can't wait to see how this turns out.........
I'm now accepting proposals for rules changes for the 1997-1998 Competition
Committee E-meeting (to be held in January). I will try to post the pro-
posals to the Site as they make their way to the RAFFLE offices.
Because of a Thursday game, there will be no trade windows again this week.
Also, Weeks 16 and 17 each have a pair of Saturday games. This will move
the lineup deadline to Saturday at 10:30 am EST for the final two weeks of
RAFFLE's season.
(I had planned to add the "x", "y", and "z" to this week's standings, but
with the PC deciding to hang itself I won't be. They will definitely be
in next week's report -- I have to know who advances and how the seeding
goes.)
