The Wright Stuff is the bi-monthly newsletter of the U.S.S. Kitty Hawk. We started as a print-only distribution and have now transitioned to only e-mail. The newsletter has also gone through an evolution of layouts, with a transition to a new layout in 2019. Each issue usually contains a variety of department heads' columns and other features (all contributed from the members of the crew) and a NASA-produced (and public domain) image for the front cover. The first few years of the newsletters now exist only in print and were scanned into .pdf to post them to the archives. This makes the .pdf for each of these issues very large when compared to the more recent issues. Fortunately, the software used to create the second generation of newsletters was still available and those issues were printed directly to .pdf, making them smaller. The current newsletter generation is distributed as a .pdf, so all of these have extra features -- primarily bookmarks and links within the .pdf -- that make the .pdf easier to navigate through. The Wright Stuff archives can be browsed by publication date and by category (making it easier to follow the various stories we've published over the years). Issues of The Wright Stuff are usually posted within a couple weeks of publication, but this isn't always the case.
