PROGRAM DESCRIPTION =================== Fantasy StatBase '95 contains a 4-year player history database (1991-94 seasons), where every major stat (yardage, touchdowns, rushing/passing/ receiving, extra points, field goals, etc) used in fantasy football is tracked on a game-by-game basis. StatBase '95 also has several user- friendly search tools to let the user look-up any player in any specific situation to see how he fared. For instance, if you have Thurman Thomas and he's playing at home against the Jets this week, you can look up every game he's played in the past against the Jets, or on turf, or at home, or in outdoor stadiums, or even during the day or night. StatBase can also build career summary reports, and show you which combination of these game day situational variables he has historically done better in. All players who generated offensive stats are included in the database. StatBase '95 also includes several integrated tools to allow the user to (1) predict a player's performance in specific game-day situations based on his past performance in similar games, (2) compare multiple players' expected performance for any specific upcoming week in order to aid the user in selecting which player to start off of his/her roster, and most importantly to (3) LET THE USER BUILD AND CUSTOMIZE HIS OWN CHEAT SHEETS. These customized cheat sheets can be exported to the Draft Day Analyst module. This module will import the user-specified cheat sheet file and will aid the user during the draft by logging picks, tracking the roster of each fantasy team as they're being drafted, tracking the available players off of each draft lists, and recommending picks at each step of the way. The software is fully integrated into StatBase, so it's not a problem to exit out of the draft to look up the stats for a particular player, or check which team he's on, or check who else is on that NFL team's roster, or just about anything that StatBase does normally. The demo version of Fantasy StatBase '95 is functionally identical to the regular version. The only difference between the two packages being that the demo version contains a smaller player database. The demo version is FREE, and may be distributed freely. The registered version is $24.95, and is available directly from Triangle Research. Ordering information can be found in the file SB95INFO.DOC, which is included in the FSB95.ZIP file. TECHNICAL INFORMATION ===================== FSB95.ZIP is the Demo version of Fantasy StatBase '95.
