A quick look at this week's job casualty report -- St. Louis' temporary kicker (until Wilkins came back), another Redskins kicker, a head coach (resigned), and I saw tonight that the Jets cut one of the safeties that started for them at the beginning of the year. In RAFFLE, we're down to the last four games of the regular season with the playoffs just around the corner. Anyone with a rules proposal can submit it AFTER Thanksgiving. (I'll be ready then to start recording them.) Home network update -- I've got Red Hat 7.0 on the monster server (the one with a pair of PIII-550's). I pulled up the system load applet and saw that I'm barely making a dent in CPU utilization, using less than half the physical mem- ory (256M), and not even touching the swap space. It looks like this'll be a _really_ sweet Domino server -- and I'm looking to install the Domino code it- self tonight. And the usual note: once everything looks good and stable, I'll start the transition away from Vnet's servers to my own. This could be done by Thanksgiving, but I may wait until after that weekend to make the cut-over. Of course, something else could come up, leading to yet another schedule change. :) :) The updated FFLM files for all four leagues have been posted to the FTP portion of the site.
