Only one more week to go........

Was the Monday night game great or what?....at least until there was five
minutes left in the game.  At least Jerry was able to get his 1,000th point
this season.  (For those who haven't heard yet, Jerry picked up a new injury
when he landed squarely on his left knee catching the TD -- and broke the
patella.  I haven't seen any reports saying he's now on IR, but........)

I'm going to try to get the season's final report next Tuesday morning before
signing off the 'net for Christmas.   (I'll be back on the 'net the following
Monday to take care of stuff that built up.)


I'm now accepting proposals for rules changes for the 1998 Competition Com-
mittee E-meeting (to be held in January).  I will try to post the proposals
to the Site as they make their way to the RAFFLE offices.

IMPORTANT!! The deadline for submitting proposals is 18:00 EST on Friday,
January 16, 1998.  I'll send the compiled proposals to the Competition Com-
mittee members that evening.  Votes will be due back the following Friday
at 18:00 EST and the final '98 rules will be mailed and posted that weekend.


Week has two Saturday games.  This will move the lineup deadline to Saturday
at 10:30 am EST (again).
