Fran update: I got my power back late Saturday afternoon and cable today!
Compared to most around here, I'm fortunate.  My parents and brother are
still without power and a co-worker's house has already been condemned
because of tree damage -- three trees' worth.  And the coast has it worse.

Gloat Time: Go Panthers!!  2-0 with the '9ers in our cross-hairs -- I hope.
