Remember that the rules supplements are just as binding as the rules
themselves -- and take priority when there's conflict.

An official protest has been made by a league member about the reposi-
tioning of Eric Metcalf as a WR.  The Competition Committee is looking
into and voting on it.  I hope to have a ruling before the weekend, but
it may be Week 3 before a final judgement is made.

Also, I've gotten a couple of message about scoring problems that will be
looked into shortly.  Just remember that USA Today is _the_ final word on
statistics.

If you notice a problem, you have until 6 PM EST on Thursdays to let me
know about any scoring problems -- this will finalize problems before the
next week's lineups are mailed out.

Site update: the home page is done (see my .sig for the URL) and should
contain all of the critical data we need.  Under-lying pages are still being
rebuilt and should be done by Sep 30.  I've pretty much chocked-up any
data on the crashed FTP drive as a loss.  This means that just about all
pre-1995 stuff is gone for good.  My Site backup method is to create a
zip'ed file in my home directory space -- it's already closing in on 29 Meg!
