First, my apologies for being late. I had some consulting work to take
care of first thing this morning that kept me out later than I thought
and I some research for a paper as well.

REMINDER:
** TRADE WINDOWS ARE NOW ON THURSDAYS to give more time to evaluate the

League III had a jarring move by the Echo Division leader.  Citing a heavy
academic load, Pat Fieldman had to drop out of the League.  Fortunately, I
found another person to take over the team: Eric Witzgall (eawitga@eos.
ncsu.edu). Judging from their performance this week, the Warlords will
continue what the Bastards started--it also proves what a good draft (and
lots of good luck) will do for you during the season.

The following NFL teams don't play in Week 8:
        DEN, KC, LARD, SD, DALL, NYG, PHIL, WASH

Now for the game info:

Blowouts of the week (I couldn't decide which one to use):
- In League I, the Obliterators were obliterated by the Phantoms 45-18
- and the Bookies got a bad tip from their bookie :), going 41-20.
- In League II, the Linemen downed the Buttheads 42-15.

Heart-breakers of the week:
- The Wolves from League II benefited from the Raiders win over the Broncos,
  edging out the Bombers 37-32.
- Hostetler's performance helped the League III Rabbits jump past the Minions
  39-33.

There is _still_ an undefeated team in RAFFLE: the League II 69ers are now
7-0. Their next opponent is the Eagles.
