In a could-have-won-it on Monday night, the Steelers go down to Lightning
30-13.  The unusually-silent Anderson probably cost both Steelers (RAFFLE and
Pittsburgh) the game.

On the other side of the championship game, the Bastards easily take care of
their division rival Bombers 48-27.  The Bastards are now 3-0 against the
Bombers.

In the previous meetings between the Bastards and Lightning, they split.
Lightning won 44-35 to open the season and the Bastards won 33-13 a month ago.

In the battle for third place, the Bombers and the Steelers play.  The Bombers
won their last game 30-20.

In the lower half of the tournament, the commissioner and statistician play
each other again.  The Airballers (who could be playing for first) got in by
beating Hot Death in a close 31-28.  The Trouncers won 17-10 in a very low-
scoring affair.  STAT'S NOTE: Every team the Trouncers play twice, they split
the series and things look good next week (Airballers won a month ago).

For seventh place, the Cloggers and Hot Death meet for a third time. Hot
Death won both previous meetings.

In the battle for ninth place, the Wildcats take a commanding lead by defeating
the Bombjacks 37-16 with more than half of their points coming Monday night.
A win by the Wildcats next week secures ninth place.

In the other game, the Anarchists go from being shut out to winning 16-12
over the Lineman (Aikman and the Dallas defense had a good night).
