In a game decided Monday night, the Steelers rolled over the Airballers by a
36-28 margin with more than a little help from Ricky Watters.  The Steelers
are now 6-1 and 2 games up on their closest division rival.  The Airballers
drop to 3-4 and are glad that Thurman Thomas is coming back!

In a low scoring game, the Bombers picked up the win over the Anarchists by a
23-12 count.  The Anarchists drop to 1-6 having lost their last 4.  The
Bombers move into a virtual tie for the division lead.

Hot Death continues to be undefeated for the 1st half of the season by beating
the improving Linemen by a 45-31 score.  The Hot Death recieved a consistent
performance from all team members to post the win while the Linemen continue
to pile up the points, but manage to lose their third straight.

In what may be considered the only upset this week, the Trouncers explode for
49 points to defeat a flat Lightning squad 49-16. The Trouncers win extends
their winning streak to 3 while stopping the Lightning streak at 5.

In a startling development, the Bombjacks scored over 30 points for the first
time this year to take the win over the Cloggers 34-22.  With that win, the
Bombjacks end a 6 game losing streak!

In a real wild shootout, the Bastards prevailed over the Wildcats 47-39.  With
that win, the Bastards move over .500 for the first time this year.  The
Wildcats drop their fourth straight. 

BONERS:  C. Gary, B. Muster, and K. Mack all scored two TD's last week ... but
nobody started them.  In neither case, however, the teams that had the players
on the roster won anyhow ...

BEHIND THE NUMBERS:  The Airballers are the only team to score over 200 points
AND have a losing record, while the Bombers hold the distinction of being the
only team with less than 200 points with a winning record. (No FAIR! :(

In the incredible game from the 49ers, ALL POINTS were picked up by RAFFLE
Teams!  Good job!
