The Airballers roll over the Eastern Anarchists 43-19 behind another strong performance from T. Thomas and the PHILADELPHIA defense. The Anarchists sink to 0-2 despite an upgraded performance from last week. In a game that was not decided until monday night, the Hot Death edged out the Cloggers 23-20 despite another great defensive performance by the Cloggers. The Hot death are 2-0, Cloggers fall to 0-2. The Linemen vs Bastards game featured S. Young and J. Kelley shooting it out in San Francisco. The Linemen pull out a 33-30 win giving the Bastards the distinction of being the best 0-2 team in the league. In our game of the week, the last-minute switches by team Lightning did not pay off as the Bombers took a 21-18 victory. The Bombers are now 2-0 and on top of a tough division - for now! In another thriller decided Monday night, the Steelers racked up 41 points, most from a stingy Pittsburgh defense, to edge the improving Trouncers 41-33. The Steelers seem to be the team to beat in the Club division. The Bombjacks scored a close win over the Trouncers last week, but fell short to the Wildcats 35-18. The Wildcats featured consistent 6 pt players, but no defense in the victory. Boners: B. Foster scored two TD's, but was not started last week. (Sorry Oz) Fred Barnett of Philadelphia had a career game but was not in. (sorry Pat) While most of SF's scores were accounted for this week, all 46 - count 'em 46 of Tampa Bay's points went unnoticed by the RAFFLE! It should be interesting to see how many TB starters pop up next week ... Behind the numbers: With J. Novacek's TD last week, the TEs finally score some points!! K. Metzelaars scored 14, but nobody has him ... The Bastards, averaging over 30 points per game and fourth in total points in the league, are 0-2. They cannot stay there for long... The Trouncers Doubled their point production this week while team Lightning only scored half of last week's total. Can the Airballers keep pace with a 40+ points per week? God, I hope so! :) RAFFLE standings and stats for week # 2: NoTrump Division | #| W | L | T | gb | stk | Pts for | Pts Agnst | ---------------- |--|----|----|---|----|-----|---------|-----------| Allen's Airballers | 1| 2 | 0 | 0 | -- | W 2 | 83 | 43 | Hot Death | 4| 2 | 0 | 0 | -- | W 2 | 40 | 36 | Clydestown Cloggers | 2| 0 | 2 | 0 | -- | L 2 | 44 | 63 | Eastern Anarchists | 3| 0 | 2 | 0 | -- | L 2 | 35 | 60 | Spade Division | #| W | L | T | gb | stk | Pts for | Pts Agnst | -------------- |--|----|----|---|----|-----|---------|-----------| Ch.
